Kurt Cobain And His Tryst With Music

Kurt Donald Cobain or more commonly Kurt Cobain is a world-famous musician from the United States. He was born in 1967. He is famously known for his performances as a lead singer and guitarist in a rock band called Nirvana. Nirvana was formed by Cobain along with Krist Novoselic in the year 1985. The debut album of the band was named Bleach. Bleach had failed to top the charts. However, their second album Nevermind was a great success. Cobain had cited his musical influence as the Beatles.
Cobain had a family who were interested in music. His uncle Chuck had been a part of a band named The Beachcombers whereas his aunt Marie was a guitarist herself. In fact, Iris Cobain, his grandmother was also a professional artist. Cobain had a knack for music and his voice in songs were heard when he was only two years old, as recalled by Marie, his aunt. He had a troubled childhood post his parents’ divorce when he was only nine years old.
Cobain had received a guitar as gift from his uncle on his 14th birthday. He then met Novoselic, with whom he had several jam sessions. They formed the band Nirvana in 1985 and released the first album. After the success of Nevermind he had never looked back. However, Cobain had issues with drug abuse because of his troubled past. His wife had arranged several interventions to help him combat his addiction. He had finally killed himself with gunshot in 1994.
